Yamaha was the first company to use an advanced Vacuum Shield Mold casting technology called V-Pro to create a stronger, lighter, more durable frame. Every b Series piano features a full-perimeter frame built Yamaha's our exacting specifications at their Iwata Forge in Japan.
The b1 Upright
Undercutting lesser competitors while retaining Yamaha's high standards, the b1 offers the joy of Yamaha piano ownership at a fantastic price point. Produced in a Continental Style Cabinet, the clean 21" deep piano tucks away neatly in smaller living spaces. Pictured here with an optional nickel hardware, as well as Yamaha's exclusive Silent System, the b1 is capable of playing acoustically all day long and all night without disturbing a soul.
