The name Acrosonic, coined from the Greek word akros ("supreme") and sonus ("tone"), was trademarked and used by Baldwin specifically for their Spinet and Console Pianos. 

Measuring from 36-40 inches tall, the Acrosonic line was introduced in the 1960's as an alternative to bulkier uprights - a feat accomplished by storing the action underneath the keys as well as maintaining the tonality through high-tension stringing scales and high-quality wood. This line of Acrosonic in particular is held in high regard as one of the finest lines of spinet pianos ever created. The authenticity, history, and affordability of this model speak for itself; decades before the silent system was invented the Baldwin Acrosonic spinet was already in homes, becoming adored by beginners and advanced players alike. 

Pre-purchase care includes regulatory maintenance such as tuning, cleaning, and minor restoration. This piano was well loved and well maintained, and has developed it's own unique tone and feel. It is in excellent condition and would require low maintenance as it is extremely durable and has already settled into its design. All this piano needs now is a loving home!
